Adeline Bono

My love of art began in high school, where I first discovered the myriad ways art could be used to express and interpret the world around me. As life progressed, with its demands of career and family, I gradually drifted away from my artistic passions. Technology and digital communication became my primary means of expression, replacing the hands-on creativity of painting and drawing.
A transformative moment came in 2017 when I had the privilege of studying watercolor under local Concord, North Carolina artist Jennie Thomlin. Her guidance rekindled my artistic spark, revealing the mesmerizing beauty and delicate techniques of watercolor painting. Though I continue to learn and grow, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to explore this expressive medium.
With my retirement in 2024, I embraced a long-held dream by opening my own art studio. As a member of the Cabarrus Art Guild, I now have the joy of sharing this space with fellow artists, experiencing the rich diversity of artistic expression and creative fellowship. My mission is to inspire others to discover their own creative potential, regardless of age or prior experience.
Through our studio's classes and workshops, I hope to demonstrate that creativity knows no boundaries. Art is not reserved for the professionally trained or naturally gifted—it's a universal language of expression waiting to be explored by anyone willing to pick up a brush, pencil, or canvas.
